Mouse Talk

 (Image from here.)
We just booked a trip to Disney World for September.
Our girls are finally old enough to really appreciate it, but still young enough to find it quite magical.
They are sooo excited!
I've only been to Disney once, in high school for a class trip.
I just showed up, and everything was planned and reserved.
That was also quite a long time ago...
I had NO idea how much is involved in planning this!
Restaurant reservations at 180 days out!?!?
I don't even know what we're having for dinner tonight.
Yikes.
I've probably spent 20 hours on the Disney website,
various blogs and message boards over the last few days.

I'd love to hear your thoughts for favorite places to eat, shows, etc.
We are staying in the resort, and probably won't venture out for this trip.

(P.S.  I'm been having email issues for the past few days, hopefully it will be resolved tonight.  I apologize if you have been waiting to hear from me!:)

How exciting! I absolutely love Disney and have been to the Magic Kingdom in Florida but many times to Disneyland in CA. I loved Epcot and visiting so many countries in only one day. You and your family are going to have a wonderful time.

Heather,
I'm so excited for you! I have been to WDW several times with my daughters, and it has always been magical. I have literally spent hundreds -- hundreds! -- of hours planning those trips. I'd be happy to help you or answer questions. Feel free to email me! I think we've done every single princess-related activity/meal at the park!

You will have a WONDERFUL time! We've been several times, and just went over Christmas. We've stayed at several of the hotels on property. This last trip, we did the princess breakfast at Askerhus in Norway/Epcot. It was slightly less than the castle's breakfast, easier to get into, and we had a great time. Our 4-yr old niece loved it. If you want any more info, feel free to email me anytime.

Happy for you!! I'm in Florida and not really a huge fan of theme parks. Maybe because we lived in Orlando for 17 years?! If you do venture out, Downtown Disney is super fun! T Rex Cafe is awesome and the ginormous Lego Store is worth the trip! Have a wonderful time!!
